Inclusive handball was once again the protagonist this Sunday in Cuenca with the celebration of the II ASOBAL Inclusive Handball Day, an event that brought together more than fifty athletes at the El Sargal Pavilion in a morning marked by coexistence, participation, and the values of sport.

The teams from Aspadec Ciudad Encantada, SANICENTRO BM Guadalajara, Titanes Caserío Ciudad Real, and Recoletas At. Valladolid IncluSPORT shared the court in a series of adapted friendly matches that allowed participants to enjoy a common sporting experience in an inclusive and accessible environment.

The activity, organized by ASOBAL together with REBI Balonmano Cuenca and with the collaboration of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha, turned El Sargal into a meeting space for players, coaches, families, and fans, reinforcing the role of handball as a tool for integration and social connection.

The celebration of this second edition continues the project initiated by ASOBAL last November in Aranda de Duero and strengthens the commitment of the association and its clubs to the development of initiatives that go beyond competition. The action is integrated within the ASOBAL Legacy League (ALL), the identity of the professional competition aimed at promoting the evolution of handball from a perspective of sustainability, legacy, and positive impact on society.

The event took place hours before the NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL League match between REBI Balonmano Cuenca and IRUDEK Bidasoa Irun, allowing participants and their companions to be part of a full day of handball in the city.
